Hi guys! Today is Little Miss Abby’s first birthday party. In honor of the occasion, I am giving away free copies of Truth’s Evil Light via Smashwords. Click the link and download the format you would like. At checkout, enter the coupon code YQ39F. Share it with as many people as you wish and enjoy. Have a great day!
I’m working away, folks. Ring is coming along much better now. I’ve ironed out all the issues and writing is much smoother. I can’t wait till it’s finished! But it’s still one day at a time. I took off next weekend for Lil’ Miss Abby’s birthday but the rest of the time will be dedicated to Ring of Truth. Back to the trenches!
Hey everybody! I have to make this quick. My bed is calling. Tina Pollick, author of Gabriel, interviewed me for her blog. Check it out!
And here is my accomplishment for the week… I managed to get my contacts out on the first try today! Aren’t you proud of me? I went to the eye doc a couple of weeks ago. When I said I’d like to try contacts, I thought, “Hey, no problem. It’ll be a snap.” Nope, not me. I’m a miserable failure. I actually got one of them stuck in my eye for 40 minutes the other day. It took 2 days for the redness to go away, WITH Visine. But today, it only took 5 minutes to put them in and they came out on the first try. Yay! Now if I could actually see while I’m wearing them… They’re bifocal lenses. My brain has to cooperate or I still might not be able to use them.
Hi everybody. I’ve been working hard on Ring of Truth. I managed to pull out the plot line that wasn’t working. Unfortunately, that created other serious issues. This week I re-outlined the whole book and worked out all the kinks (I think). The story is much better for it too. It’s jam-packed with action, suspense and mystery. With the new, more complete outline, things should move along pretty quickly.
On a lighter note… From the votes cast in my poll, it looks like most people preferred the title White Lie, Black Truth for book 3. I have to admit that it was my favorite. I’m still open to other suggestions though.
Tina Pollick, author of Gabriel, has offered to interview me for her blog on March 1st, so check it out.

I’m sorry I’ve been off the grid recently. With the deadline for Ring of Truth looming, I found that I was getting way too distracted being online, so I kept off the social sites for a while. I’ve been hard at work and have made significant headway. Unfortunately, I found that a major element in the story is NOT working. I’m going to have to go back and remove it. That’s going to slow things down a bit.
I got my taxes done and bought a new computer. I just want to say, I HATE WINDOWS 8! It’s fine if you just want to check your email, listen to music, message and surf the internet. I tend to use my computer more as a workhorse and Windows 8 is annoying as hell for that. Anyway, I’ll stop complaining.
What else is new? Hmm. Little Miss Abby is walking. Yay! She’s so impressed with herself and the cutest thing ever! I found a new theme for the website and it rocks. I’m not working on it much (I don’t want to spend more time away from writing right now) but I will after this book is finished. I haven’t made any progress on the trailer for Ring of Truth yet. I think I’ll work on it while the beta readers are doing their thing.
Finally! Truth’s Evil Light is available on the Nook. Of course I’m still not happy. For some reason there isn’t a cover. Not good. I don’t know about you guys but if there is a book and no cover, I wouldn’t download it. I wouldn’t even look at the sample. Grumble, grumble, grumble. There isn’t even a book blurb. WTF?
Signed-This is BS
Holy CRAP! It is cold. We had a week of 35 degree weather and I think I got spoiled. Within two days, the temperature dropped 20 degrees and it is bitter cold now. Brrrrrrr.
My work week is finally done. It’s a good thing too. I needed to get out of there before I got into any more trouble. My mouth ran away with me and it took a while for my brain to catch up. But I have the next five days off. Yay! Lil Miss Abby will be here tomorrow but after that my schedule is clear. My goal this week is to plow through 3 chapters. It’s a tall order, I know.
I have been trying to come up with the main plot for the third book in the Cheveyo Series for a while and I was stumped. Until today! I am soooo excited. It’ll be so cool! Or at least that’s the plan. You’ll have to let me know this summer, when #3 comes out. That reminds me… Does anyone have any suggestions for the title of book 3? I think I’m going to add a poll on my website this week, if you would like to vote for one. Leave a comment if you have your own ideas. If I wind up using a title you suggested, I will include your name on the acknowledgements page. That is all for now. Carry on!
I’m plugging away. Yesterday I wrote a poem! I know it doesn’t sound like that big of a deal but it is, trust me. I don’t do poetry, no-way, no-how. But I did it and it doesn’t suck. Bonus! It’s actually pretty good, especially for a first try. We’ll see if I feel the same way in a month.
I found the music for the Ring of Truth trailer. I’m also going to try my hand at animation. It should be very cool (once I figure out how the program works).
I’m working away on Ring of Truth and making headway. I still hope to publish in March but I could use some help. Is anyone interested in being a beta reader for Ring of Truth? If you are fill out the contact form here and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

Truth’s Evil Light is now available on Google Play. I think that about covers the eBook stores, with the exception of Barnes and Noble. I have no idea what is taking them so long. The paperback is on there but not the eBook. It was only supposed to take a few days to show up. It has been about 3 weeks now. I’ll have to check it out Monday.
